The Pistolas/Good Shoes/Pigeon DetectivesBy Imogen Shurey Frankie Moore Three bands played Ipswich's Drum Monkey over 5th/6th May 2006 as the venue continues to try and put the town on the national gig circuit for up-and-coming acts,デュベティカ 店舗. The Pistolas Four piece indie punk band The Pistolas brought a whirlwind of excitement from Norwich to Ipswich. Singer Simon darted about the stage sometimes braving it in the growing mosh of drunken lads where he would disappear for a few seconds,デュベティカアウトレット, re-emerging each time to the safety of the stage where he would take his superior stance. The Pistolas The band had an air of arrogance about them,デュベチカ専売店, but they could afford it as the audience knew they were good. It only added to the sense that this is a band who will make it big. Their tunes were catchy and memorable. And they certainly had their image sussed with female bassist Naomi giving them an individual image,ダウンジャケットduvetica. The combination of male and female vocals worked well and gave them an individual sound as well as a distinctive look. The Pigeon Detectives are a five-piece from Leeds,ダウンジャケットレディース, and despite their huge and obvious talent,デュベティカダウンジャケット, they enjoyed the smaller and more personal crowd. They confessed to having the best looking bass player in the whole of the North of England,discount Parajumpers Jackets! This broke into light-hearted banter between the band and crowd. They have a huge talent and their music rivals that of new bands like Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks. They had fabulous guitarist, an amazing drummer and plenty of microphone swinging to keep the crowd entertained. They spoke to the audience teaching them lines of the song so they could join in,jordans shoes. This made the crowd warm to them even more and got them the biggest cheer of the night,デュベチカ専売店. They finished on a high singing Not Sorry An amazing band and definitely one to keep an eye out for,デュベティカ 店舗. (FM) Good ShoesFollowing the PDs,デュベティカ 激安, London band Good Shoes had catchy indie tunes and an understated cool as if they were mildly unaware of the popularity of their band. Good Shoes They seemed to really put their hearts into their performance and it seemed that they would not have it any other way,デュベチカ専売店. It is obvious they are working hard to live their dream with their Ipswich gig being just one of many scheduled in all corners of the country. The four lads kept a friendly down-to-earth tone regularly taking the time to talk to the audience and introduce different songs,デュベティカアウトレット. A few of their songs had a strange familiarity about them and a few shouts of I know this one could be heard from the audience,デュベティカ 店舗 大阪.
