Pop star Adam Lambert receives top honors at latest GLAAD awards
SAN FRANCISCO, May 12 () -- Singer Adam Lambert and the upcoming Alan Cumming film "Any Day Now " were big honorees in the latest round of GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco.The San Francisco leg of the 24th annual awards took place Saturday, The Hollywood Reporter said. Earlier portions took place in New York and Los Angeles.Melanie Brown of "America's Got Talent" and Spice Girls fame, presented Lambert with the Davidson/Valentini Award for his work to promote LGBT causes as an openly gay performer.Lambert also won the award for Outstanding Music Artist, which he tied for with artist Frank Ocean.
