| General Dynamics radios pass U.S. military testing
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 18 () -- Manpack AN/PRC-155 radios by General Dynamics C4 Systems successfully performed secure communications tests through the U.S. military's MUOS satellite network.In the end-to-end system test of the Mobile User Objective System satellite network,[url=http://www.ksacinc.com/cheapgucci/?]gucci outlet online[/url], a handheld AN/PRC-155, using the final version of the MUOS waveform, transmitted secure voice and data communications to the orbiting MUOS satellite, through the MUOS ground station and back to a second PRC-155 Manpack radio.The company said it was the first time that any military radio has communicated with the MUOS space-ground network, "which will ultimately extend the reach of the soldiers' network to even the most isolated locations.""The PRC-155 is the only government-owned, off-the-shelf radio to demonstrate this capability," said Chris Marzilli, president of General Dynamics C4 Systems.
