NEW YORK, Jan. 15 () -- U.S. stock indexes closed mixed Monday after a survey of New York manufacturing showed further contraction in January.The New York Federal Reserve said its monthly business index came in at minus 7.8, below the consensus forecast that called for a rise to the break-even point of zero.By close of trading on Wall Street, the Dow Jones industrial average added 27.57 points or 0.2 percent to 13,534.89. The Nasdaq composite index shed 6.72 points or 0.22 percent to 3,110.78.
