The A330 MRTT for the country's air force features a fly-by-wire aerial refueling boom system and a universal aerial refueling receptacle slipway installation for refueling from another tanker.It has a 245,000-pound basic fuel capacity.As a transport, it can carry as much as 99,000 pounds of cargo and 300 troops.The UAE intends to use its A330 MRTTs for aerial refueling of its F-16E/F Block 60 and Mirage 2000 fighters."It is deeply satisfying to see the completion of these deliveries to the UAE AF&AD [Air Force & Air Defense]," said Airbus Military Vice President of Derivative Programs Antonio Caramazana.
