'Lincoln' up for 10 British Academy Film Awards
LONDON, Jan. 9 () -- "Lincoln," director Steven Spielberg's drama about the last months of the 16th American president's life, was nominated for 10 BAFTA Awards in London Wednesday.The France-set movie musical "Les Miserables" and Indian fable "Life of Pi" are each nominated in nine categories, while the James Bond adventure "Skyfall" earned eight, the CIA thriller "Argo" garnered seven and the Russian tragedy "Anna Karenina" grabbed six. "Django Unchained" and "Zero Dark Thirty" are each nominated five times, "The Master" and "Amour" earned four nominations apiece, and "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "Silver Linings Playbook" are up for three awards. "Lincoln" is nominated for Best Film, Adapted Screenplay, Original Music, Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design and Makeup and Hair.
