Redskins would like to use Roy Helu more often
APRedskins running back Alfred Morris declared himself good to go this week after bruising his ribs in the team's Week Four victory over the Raiders, which means that he'll be taking the lion's share of the work at running back against the Cowboys this weekend.Given his 5.3 yards per carry, there's not likely to be much complaint about that around the team. Having Morris in the lineup means less work for Roy Helu, though, and offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan would like to find a way to remedy that.I'd like to get Helu out there more, Shanahan said, via John Keim of ESPN.com. It's always a hard thing when you've got two guys you believe in and with the success Alf's had last year and how much we do believe in Alf, so we don't like to just keep rotating those guys all the time. You don't ever want to do that at the expense of another one of your good players.Helu had six touches in the first three games before getting 15 against Oakland with Morris out of the game. While the Redskins can spot him on more passing downs or toy with playing him and Morris at the same time, moncler sale, the easiest way to get both backs work is to grab an early lead and milk the clock. Playing from behind, something Washington's done all too often in their first four games, makes that impossible and it leaves Helu doing less than the team would like.
