Hot air balloons have decorated the sky in a Mexican city,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for the annual Hot Air Balloon festival.
An array of colours and shapes filled the sky as pilots fired up their balloons,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], carrying them high above the metropolitan Ecological park of Leon.
The 11th annual Leon International Balloon Festival saw Balloons ranging from the traditional teardrops to not so traditional butterflies,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], bees,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and even elvis.
Organisers say the festival has brought together almost two million people over the last decade,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
'This is my 10th year flying at Globo,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I flew at the very first one and it's been fantastic. We have a lot of 'amigos' that we have met down here. The people have been great,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we are very happy to come down and fly. As you can see the beautiful sky with all of the balloons,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's always real good flying here,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we really enjoy it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],' hot air balloon pilot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Peter Pierre said.
The festival's director,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Scandra Salim,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], said the festival sought to attract tourism to the industrial city of Leon,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is known primarily for selling leather goods and shoes.
