Crane runs over, kills Canadian Grand Prix track worker in Montreal
MONTREAL, June 10 () -- A mobile crane ran over a track worker at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal Sunday,[url=http://www.cheapchristianloubouting.com/]cheap christian louboutin[/url], fatally injuring him, officials said.The 38-year-old worker was one of two men escorting the crane that was lifting a race car driven by Esteban Gutierrez that had hit the wall at Turn 2 near the end of the race, The (Montreal) Gazette reported.Francois Dumontier, president and chief executive officer of Octane Management and president of the Canadian Grand Prix, said the worker, whose name hadn't been released, stumbled while picking up a radio that had fallen to the ground and the crane operator failed to see him in his path. The worker was rushed to a hospital where he died."It's deplorable; it's a tragic end to what was a great weekend," Dumontier said.Gutierrez escaped injury in the race car crash.
