FBI looking for answers after lasers target planes landing in NYC
NEW YORK, Oct. 21 () -- Federal investigators are search for answers into multiple incidents of individuals aiming lasers at planes landing at New York's LaGuardia airport. The FBI said laser reports are up 17 percent from 2012 and pose a significant security risk for pilots who can be blinded in the final moments of landing a plane, WPIX-TV, New York, reported Saturday. The two most recent incidents were reported the evening of Oct. 15, when pilots about 2,Mens Gucci Shoes,000 feet above the ground on final approach reported their cockpits were illuminated with green laser light. One said the light source was in the Bronx, the other said it was in Queens, investigators said. Laser targeting has not caused any airplanes to crash but pilots have suffered eye injuries including retina burns as a result,Gucci Bags Sale, the FBI said.
