Jeff Carter finally gave the Kings some insurance with 10:33 to play in the third.Dustin Brown opened the scoring for the Kings 6:15 into the contest and T.J. Brodie brought Calgary its only goal with 5:09 to go in the opening stanza.Joey MacDonald stopped 30-of-33 shots to take the loss.
