Oman Navy orders bridge, navigation system
TEWKSBURY, Mass., April 9 () -- Integrated bridge and navigation systems are being provided to the Royal Navy of Oman by the German subsidiary of Raytheon.Under the package deal, Raytheon Anschuetz will equip four of Oman's new Al-Ofouq class offshore patrol vessels with the new-generation systems which feature standardized human machine interface and enhanced multifunctional workstations."A consistent system design and the use of standard hardware provide a high level of flexibility to adapt the bridge system to various mission and naval requirements," Raytheon said.
