Customers camped out at dawn outside the store waiting to get in with tickets they had obtained from the store the day before guaranteeing receipt of a pair of prized kicks.

"Some people were in line twice. They came in for the Kevin Durants and then came back for the Jordans." The day after the release the store had the $250 golden Taxis prominently displayed in the window,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the only style still available. "Now you're going to have to pay an arm and a leg for them on Flightclub and the Jordan websites,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," he said. "I just saw the KD Pearls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the pink ones,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for $700. And the lowest I've seen the Jordans for is like $350."
The iridescent pink Pearls are quite popular. Manufactured by Nike and endorsed by Kevin Durant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a forward with the Oklahoma City Thunder,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the sneakers carry the Kay Yow Cancer Fund logo on its side and tongue,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a mother of pearl holographic design on the tounge and heel. It features additional Aunt Pearl tributes on its lace tips and the underside of the Adaptive Fit strap. One such written tribute on the shoe reads: "In memory of Aunt Pearl who inspired us all to continue to fight for a cure."
