LONDON, April 9 () -- Industrial production and manufacturing slowed February 2012 to February this year in Britain, the national data office said.Production rose 1 percent and manufacturing rose 0.8 percent compared with the previous month, the Office of National Statistics said Tuesday. However, both sectors were off compared to February 2012. Production fell 2.2 percent and manufacturing 1.4 percent from 12 months prior, the office said.The data covers two of four main components that make up the output measure for Britain's gross domestic product.
