A Roseville candy shop picked an ambitious location for its second store: New York City.
Stieber’s Sweet Shoppe, located in the Fountains shopping center, hopes to open a New York store in May. “I just think it will be something really amazing to grow the family business,” said , owner of the New York location.

Manne, who is based in New York, spent about a year looking for a location for the new store. She signed a lease for the space in November. Its interior will resemble the Roseville location, which is approximately 1,300 square feet.

They are exploring possibilities for carrying some of those local products at the New York store, according to .
The company has added references to New York in its marketing materials. It currently has no plans to expand in the Sacramento region.
Susan and also own European Wax Centers in Roseville’s Fountains and Rocky Ridge Town Center, as well as a European Wax Center in Los Angeles.
